What is the definition of Art? Well, there is no concrete definition for the term – art. We can see different people giving their own version of definition for the word – art. In this article, we will try to provide the definition and explanation for that term. One of the most accepted definitions of art is it is a process of deliberately arranging different elements (colours, line, objects, etc.) so that it appeals the emotions and senses of the human being. Traditional media artwork requires paint, paper and other tools. Using all these tools can cause lots of mess, which can be avoided with the digital technology. The art created with digital media (computer, mouse, keyboard) can be scaled to any size without loss in the quality. A single art can be easily duplicated as many times.

However, there are still many people, who prefer the traditional style of art as they look more lively than the contemporary art. For example, the art piece created with digital technology, when looking them at a closer distance. On the other hand, the traditional artwork looks so lively and realistic in every inch. This is the reason why mural paintings and sculpture of ancient days still amazes the people.

There is a lot of questions whether digital art can be classified as a distinct art form. Usually, a type of art is classified as distinct when it has a unique style. However, digital art does not have any distinct form. It sometimes used to replicate the traditional style art and sometimes used to replicate contemporary. To tell in simple words, the digital media is just a tool like paint and brush.

Similarly, musician composes tunes, and sculpture sculpts the rock to express what he loves. No matter how the days pass and technology evolves, there is no death for the art. It will be part of the human culture till the earth revolves.
